This is a project I’m working on. It’s a square of grass that is an odd space in the yard. It doesn’t get much sunlight, so the original purpose of having a washing line didn’t happen. The space feels a bit unloved and needs some attention.
Reading about Feng Shui (not an expert, just like learning), this grass square is the missing relationship corner of the house – the house is not square. It’s relevant to all relationships – partners, children, family, work. Even if you’re not into Feng Shui, having a neglected part of the garden, doesn’t feel right. Energy drains when I see this bit.

Time for a transformation – it’s a work in progress. You’ll have to use your imagination at this stage, as it will take a few months to start to grow now that it’s nearly spring.

My idea is to add large bushes of colour. If you look closely you can see a pink tiny flower near the green colorbond fence on the image on the left. These are cuttings from a beautiful flowering plant called Impatiens and the create an amazing amount of colour that should cover most of the ground. Underneath I’ve planted a Native Violet, which will spread and have beautiful purple flowers.
Once it’s all grown, it will look spectacular, full of colour and life. And for the purpose of Feng Shui should be an amazing boost to all relationships!
Will keep you posted on the progress.
